Forwarded Call Notification

Thank you for using our app, we’re trying hard to deliver the best services to meet your needs and get your satisfaction.

Please read this help to learn how to setup the app and how to use it.

App Setup

Starting from version 5.0 the app has two working modes, you can try the mode that works for your mobile. If you have an older version already installed and working fine on your mobile and updated to version 5.0 you may want to switch directly to Mode2.
The app needs to run in the background in order to detect forwarded calls, so it’s important to open the app info (usually by long clicking the app icon) and allow background services, enable autostart and exclude the app from battery saver restrictions or any other similar setting depending on your device model or brand.

Also the app may not be compatible with VoLTE, so you may have to switch to regular GSM connection, you can do that by going to Settings->Connections->Mobile networks then uncheck VoLTE.

Mode1 Setup:

Mode1 is a lot easier to set up so the app will start with it (no need for FCNTool). It will take advantage of the accessibility services special tools to detect the forwarded calls by catching the default notification message that your mobile usually shows when receiving forwarded calls. So this mode will not work if your mobile not showing any default notification message when receiving forwarded calls at all (many phones by default show this notification message when receiving a forwarded call but it disappears quickly after about 2 seconds), if this is the case you can later switch to Mode2.
To setup the app in Mode1 you only have to enable the Forwarded Call Notification service in Accessibility menu on your mobile settings. The app will automatically open the Accessibility settings page and ask you to enable the service. (You can also manually access the Accessibility setting page from Settings -> Device -> Accessibility or search for it in your mobile settings.)

Mode2 Setup:

Mode2 is a bit harder to set up, anyway you only need to switch to Mode2 if Mode1 didn’t work for you. Mode2 will try to read the internal mobile log to detect forwarded calls.

1.      Download FNCTool.zip and extract it to your Windows PC.

2.      Enable USB Debugging on your mobile: Android Settings -> Developer options -> Android debugging (USB).

2.1.   If Developer options is hidden then go to Settings -> About Phone and tap Build number (7) times. Return to the previous screen to find Developer options at the bottom.

3.      Connect your mobile to your PC via USB.

4.      Run FCN.bat in the FCNTool folder on PC.

5.      When success the following output will be shown on the command line window:

6.      If you get an error message:

6.1.   Device not found: It's probably caused either by forgetting to enable USB Debugging (step 2), or by missing the correct USB drivers on your PC.

How to install ADB USB driver:

§  First try to install the PC suite provided by your mobile manufacturer (Samsung Kies, Huawei Hi Suit..).

§  If that doesn’t work, or you can’t find the appropriate PC suit, you may want to download and install Universal ADB Driver.

§  For more information about installing USB ADB drivers: Get the Google USB Driver, Install OEM USB Drivers , Installing the Android Debug Bridge (ADB) USB Driver on a Windows Computer.

6.2.   Device unauthorized: Check your mobile there should be a pop-up window to allow USB Debugging => Click OK.

6.3.   Waiting for device: You have to check the USB cable and ensure your mobile is connected.

7.      Solve the problem and return to step (5).

8.      After the permission is granted successfully, restart your mobile.

9.      (Optional) Disable USB Debugging.

Important Notes

- The app may not be compatible with some models, brands, or carriers. Any way you can try it to see if it's working for you.

- On some device brands (eg: Huawei, LeEco) additional steps may be needed to enable reading internal log (Mode2).

- If you have a Huawei phone follow these steps to enable reading log (Mode2):

1.            Open your dialer app and enter the following code: *#*#2846579#*#*

2.            Go to Background Settings page and select Log Settings.

3.           Check all 3 options to enable full logging (You will see a toast message saying that enabling any of these logging options “will affect performance” but you can safely ignore this warning).

4.           Restart your mobile.

5.           Sometimes you may need to repeat these steps to take effect permanently.

- If you have Letv Phone (LeEco Le Max 2 or 1) phone, dial *#*#76937#*#* then Enable All Logs.

- For MTK devices you have to access Engineering Mode by dialing *#*#3646633#*# * then go to Log and Debugging - MTKLogger – and check Enable Tag Log.

- For Xiaomi devices you have first to Turnoff MIUI optimization and restart the phone, then head over to Developer Options on MIUI, and enable the following:

§  USB debugging.

§  Install via USB.

§  USB debugging (Security Settings).

- On some Huawei and Sony phones you may need to tweak settings to enable FNC app Notification.

- Most problems are not caused by the app itself, but by improper app setup.

How it works

Once you install the app and complete the setup process, a background service will work permanently to intercept the forwarded calls.

When receiving a forwarded call a Notification will be shown in the notification bar on the top of the screen, and a “Forwarded Call..” message is shown on the dialer screen.

DISCLAIMER

The setup process is completely safe and is intended to give the app the needed permission to work (Read_Log permission / Enable Accessibility service).

USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK
